Mani Parris, S: Parris is an absolute terror as a safety. He is not the heaviest (6-2, 145) or fastest player, but he makes up for it with tenacity and a mean streak. Simply put, offensive players must keep their heads on a swivel when Parris is on the field. He has uncanny timing, delivering one big hit after another. On one play he had a bone-rattling hit on Tennessee’s TD catch, arriving at the same time as the ball. Parris plays downhill; he spends a lot of time inching forward and looking for someone to level. If he can develop his coverage skills and pursuit angles he’ll become an even better all-around safety.
